An Act of God is a one man show starring Jim Parsons, written by David Javerbaum (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart) and directed by Joe Mantello (Wicked). When the project came to me, a photoshoot had already been done, so the challenge was taking an existing portrait of Jim Parsons and treating it in a contemporary style that matched the tone of the play while giving a comedic nod to the title and concept.
